Written, directed and produced by Australian film maker Martin Guinness, Cages of Shame tells the dramatic story of Animals Asia’s rescue of ten bears from a cruel bile farm in Shandong Province, China and the harrowing journey that brought those bears to their sanctuary in Chengdu. Narrated by American actor Peter Coyote, Cages of Shame is the winner of the HSUS Ace Grant for documentary films.

All proceeds from this screening will go to Animals Asia’s sanctuary in Vietnam where a new bear house is nearing completion and its double-enclosure will need all new climbing equipment, pools and toys.
