Summer Solstice Firewalk for the animals

I have signed up to do a firewalk to raise much needed funds for Animals Asia and hope to be able to help the animals to new beginnings with the Summer Solstice Firewalk.

The Firewalk ceremony is a symbolic rite of passage into a new way of being.  Just as wildfires in nature burn away the dead and lifeless debris of the land and fertilise it with ash, leaving space for sunlight and rain to reach the seeds of new growth, so the firewalk allows us to release energetic and emotional burdens to the Fire, and make way for new beginnings.  Participants will have the uplifting experience of making a physical commitment to their chosen path forward – clarifying their vision for the future, and gathering all their courage, passion and focus into taking that first step towards it, knowing that – as in life – there are risks involved and fears to be faced in order to make dreams come true.

In the moment of choosing to walk on fire, we give ourselves an opportunity to affirm our trust in our own power and magic, to demonstrate our ability to use our fear for transformation, and to rekindle our passion for our visions of what could be.

I’m going to do this for the animals and hope that by focusing on them and their present and future lives, I can make a difference to their future.

Please help me with a little (or large) donation here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/londonnanningbear feel free to share far and wide.

Thank you!

I just wanted to send out a little message to let you all know that we are now fully booked for our Octobear Festival next month.  A massive THANK YOU to all of you who booked to help us support this amazing charity and help save bears from the worst cruelty imaginable.

We will be starting a waiting list in case anyone drops out, so please message us via the “Contact us” page here or at animalsasialondon@gmail.com if you would like to be put on the waiting list.

UNTIL THE CRUELTY ENDS!

Octobear Festival 2017

We are very grateful to Alastair Choat, compassionate and animal loving landlord of Norman’s Coach and Horses, for offering to host our third Octobear Festival. Our previous events were huge successes and we’re very confident that this one will be too. The pub is vegan/vegetarian so there will be something there for everyone.

Octobear Festival 2015

For £30 you will get a yummy 3 course meal and a glass of wine. There will also be a raffle and one of our members, who took part in Animals Asia’s one week volunteer programme this May, will be sharing her experiences with us.

This will raise vital funds for Animals Asia’s work in China and Vietnam.

Tickets are limited and can be booked by completing our booking form below. We would love to see you there!
