Please vote for Jill Robinson

Jill Robinson, the extraordinary and totally inspirational founder and CEO of Animals Asia has been nominated for the Spirit of Hong Kong Award.  I have shared this everywhere else and just thought I’d ask our followers here to please vote for Jill if you agree she deserves to win this, as I’m sure you will.  This wouldn’t just give Jill the recognition she so thoroughly deserves but would also make more people aware of Animals Asia and animal welfare issues in Asia.

This is where you can vote – just scroll down to Jill’s picture and click on it

The deadline is 4 November, so please vote today.  If you would like to ask others to vote who may not know about Animals Asia or bear bile farming, this would be a good video to send along with the link

Ever since I first learnt about Animals Asia I have been very passionate about doing whatever I can to help raise funds and end the cruelty; even more so since I’ve seen the saved bears myself, both in China and Vietnam. So, thank you so much for voting for Jill and for the bears and all animals in Asia too!

Jill Robinson Jamming with Matt Sorum

Animals Asia’s founder and CEO Jill Robinson met up with Matt Sorum, the legendary Los Angeles-based drummer, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award-winning musician who has played with Guns N’ Roses, The Cult and Velvet Revolver, at his studio in LA  during a recent trip to the US to promote “Jasper’s Story: Saving Moon Bears”

This is the result of their jamming session – absolutely brilliant

Animals Asia has named Matt Sorum as its newest Ambassador for the United States.

The move follows Matt contacting Animals Asia with an offer to help having been forwarded a YouTube clip, by a Twitter follower, of the plight of moon bears in bile farms in China and Vietnam. The video also showed the work Animals Asia has done towards ending bear bile farming.

You can read more from Jill and Matt about Matt’s absolutely wonderful offer to help end this barbaric practice here
